Better Sleep with Blackout Window Covers
Disclaimer: I received product in exchange for this review. All opinions are my own.
During the winter we had a great sleep schedule going. Both of our kids were asleep between 7:30 and 8:30. It wasn’t always consistent, and by no means am I saying they have ever been great sleepers, but it was going okay.
Fast forward to longer days, which I love, and our boys bedtime was slowly creeping later. Pretty soon they weren’t falling asleep until 9:30 at the earliest! It was driving me absolutely insane.
Blackout curtains didn’t make a huge difference, and I needed help asap! They weren’t only going to bed late, they were waking up as soon as the sun came up!! I found out about BlackoutEZ Window Covers, and I knew I needed to give them a try!
Before BlackoutEZ Window Covers:
Wake time: 6:30AM
Time spent waiting in bed for them to fall asleep: HOURS
After BlackoutEZ Window Covers:

Bedtime: 8:00 PM
Wake time: 7:30 AM
Time spent waiting in bed for them to fall asleep: 30 minutes
They were incredibly easy to install. With the velcro, I am able to easily take them down and put them back up as well which means I can eventually look at new Window shutters for the room when they age a little and hopefully start to sleep a little better on their own! The extra hours of sleep allows me to have more time to myself, and it means my boys are less cranky!
As an extra bonus, it has really helped with nap time!
I love that they can be custom made to fit your windows, they’re so easy to use, and they look nice.
Some other things I use to help with sleep: diffusing Plant Therapy oils, using our Marpac sound machine, and our crane humidifier!
