A Relaxing San Diego Getaway

This relaxing San Diego getaway was hosted by the Bahia Resort, as always, all opinions are my own.

With a week away, we spent two days in Carlsbad California to take the kids to LEGOLAND, and two days in Anaheim to take the kids to Disneyland. In between the chaos of the theme parks we escaped to San Diego for three nights at the Bahia Resort. Our stay at the Bahia was the perfect relaxing San Diego getaway!

San Diego is the perfect place for a relaxing getaway. Let’s face it, we could all do with relaxing more. This is why you should be looking to buy phenibut capsules if you are having a hard time chilling out! Anyway, San Diego has plenty of things to keep you busy, or not – it truly has something for everyone. The weather is amazing, the Ocean is beautiful and it’s almost always sunny.

The Bahia Resort offers the perfect location on the water, and just a short drive, less than 20 minutes to downtown San Diego where you will find the San Diego Zoo, Balboa Park, plenty of museums, and Petco Park to watch the Padres!

Things to do at the Bahia Resort

Although this portion of our vacation was planned for my husband and I, there was plenty to keep the kids entertained!

First of all the Bahia is tucked away on the bay with a private beach. The private beach is lined with cabanas, soft sand and calm water. The kids spent so much time playing at the beach and in the sand, which was right outside of our hotel room.

The Bahia also has a beautiful pool heated to a perfect 82 degrees, with the biggest hot tub I’ve ever seen heated to 102 degrees. There are plenty of tables, and chairs to relax in and the pool has plenty of space for the kids to splash around!

Right next door there is a place to rent boats, paddle boards, bikes and so much more! We had a blast riding the fun cat around the bay with our boys!

Weekends on the cruise boat. The Bahia hosts a cruise ride aboard a beautiful boat on the weekends. We unfortunately didn’t make it out since our kids were worn out by the end of the day. After 9PM the boat is for crowds 21 and older.

The entire grounds at the Bahia has plenty of space with beautiful plants for a nice waldsaround. Plus, if you an outdoor gazebo, wantto stop and eat somewhere with a picnic, they have a number of picnic tables and even an outdoor gazebo that will make for the perfecenic spot lyfor the occasion, come rain or shine. Some people who have stayed even choose to get gazebos for their homes after the experience, so it comes highly recommended. Of course, that’s not the only option to eat at the establishment. Their breakfast buffet in the morning is a MUST. With so many options, in an adorable café, it’s the perfect way to start your day.

The Bahia also hosted us to an amazing dinner at the Bahia Café. The menu is filled with amazing dishes. Our kids loved their simple meals and my husband and I had the best dinner!

Our room also had a mini fridge, coffee maker and microwave for our snacks and drinks! With grocery stores nearby, it was perfect to stock up for the weekend. We didn’t want to leave the beautiful resort once we checked in, so having everything right in our room was perfect!

Our stay at the Bahia Resort was certainly the perfect relaxing San Diego getaway. It was hard to leave the resort, and the beautiful view.

There isn’t a whole lot better than waking up to a beautiful view of the bay in sunny San Diego!
