Club Pilates

My experience with pilates is limited to at home work out videos, therefore I wasn’t sure what to expect. I walked in at six weeks postpartum, just cleared by my midwife to workout again. The equipment looked a little intimidating, but I was excited to try it out.

Free Intro Class

Since Club Pilates offers a complimentary free intro class, I was able to go in with confidence. During this class, I was introduced to the new equipment and taught how to use it. After this class, I was confident in my ability and excited to explore the classes!

Reformer-based Pilates

Club Pilates uses a modern approach to classical methods. Pilates strengthens your muscles, while giving you length. It will increase your strength, flexibility and mobility as well.

Club Pilates is great for everybody. As someone who hasn’t worked out in years (besides walking and chasing kids), as well as being 6 weeks postpartum, the workout felt perfect for me! Looking back on the days I was running miles a day, and working out – I can see how the different levels would continue to challenge and be beneficial to the strongest athletes!


Since there is a limited amount of equipment, class sizes stay fairly small. I love that there is that energy and fun of being in a group, but still small enough to have support from the instructor. The instructors are so helpful and knowledgable and able to give you personal attention during the classes.


Going to Club Pilates is not only fun, but it’s good for my health as well. I leave feeling stronger and it relieves so much stress. Make sure to check out your local Club Pilates and sign up to take the free intro class!
